The bayonet features shaped plain wooden grips, with the plain oval guard. 16.5 cm long blade in good condition, showing service wear and manufacturer stamp. The black enamel metal scabbard is in good condition, with no dents or damage and retains approximately 70% of the original black enamel outer finish and the boot clip. Blade slides in and out of scabbard with no issues, the sheathed set measures 29cm long. This is an original made/issued set. Used as a close combat knife, many seeing action on the eastern front and later in the trenches of the western European campaigns.All original.
