Description: Abe Schrader was an amazing designer that got his start in the early 50s, with his creations being regulars on 5th Avenue. This dress is classic new look, with a built-in tulle underskirt. Clean with no funky smells. Measures just under 14" across waist (28 inches), 17" across bust (34 inches), 39" overall length. Metal zipper works just fine. A lovely piece. Very good vintage condition. Tulle underskirt needs to be retacked (see photo 8) and the bows could maybe be secured a little better. The last photo shows a small area with a few aberrations in the fabric (3 lines) that look like snags, but they are not. Perhaps the fabric rubbed against something. It's near the hip area; Barely noticeable. No other flaws found. There is a silver-dollar sized area in the second photo toward the bottom of the skirt that looks lighter; it's not a stain, it's a reflection of light.
