Description: Stunning duck head bookends. These bookends are a mystery to me. I have tried to find their origination but I can’t find anything like them. Close but not exact. I believe the base and sides are wood with a twisted piping (unknown material) with red felt bottoms and sides for protection. The heads themselves are so intricate with an orange eye and black iris. They are quite detailed. They looked to be hand carved wood, however I believe they may be a resin material. Either way, they are gorgeous and belong in a library where they can be fully appreciated. Please see photos. I have touched up any scratches with a deep wood oil. They look beautiful. Books not included. No refunds offered, so please ask any questions prior to purchase.
