Description: Vintage WH Grindley & Co England Creampetal Devonshire Rose Gravy Boat. Condition is used and shows wear; markings/spotting both on exterior and interior of gravy boat; fading/worn areas of gold trim especially by spout or lip of the gravy boat; scratching; appears to be a chip at bottom about 1/4” long but seems to be glazed over, possibly done when it was made; tiny spot on side of spout that seems chipped about 1/16” long. Please see all photos. Based off the backstamp, this pattern was produced between 1936-1954 but based on some research that it was probably from the early 1950’s. The gravy boat is cream colored and was hard to capture that color in photos. It is approximately 8” long from spout to end of handle, 3 1/2” wide at the widest area and 3” tall at the shortest area.
