Description: The Little Princesses was written by Marion Crawford who served as the governess to Queen (then Princess) Elizabeth and her sister Princess Margaret for 17 years. Compared to the nasty tell-all books we see now, this is a very sweet reminiscence. She shares lovely stories and you can tell how fond she was of her charges. I hope she made some money on this book because back then it was a real no-no to speak publicly about the royals and she lost some of her retirement benefits as a result. I guess I'd have to say the condition of this book is only Acceptable because the dust jacket is pretty beat up. The book itself is Very Good for it's age. Please message me with any questions.
