Description: Vintage Stihl 051 Chainsaw. This saw is missing the name plate but I believe it is a 051 as it doest have the manual oiler. I tested this saw out and it started right up after a few pulls. It had been sitting for quite some time but no fuel or bar oil was left in it while it sat. After I started the saw I let it idle for quite awhile and it didnt shut off. Oiler worked when I tested it. The kill swith DOES NOT work, it looks like the wire isnt connected. Overall this seems to be a good running saw but I am no expert on chainsaws. For some reason there is no paint on the oil tank. Cosmetically the saw is in decent shape but it is a vintage saw so it does have marks, scuffs and scratches. Please look at all pictures so you know exactly what you will be receiving. Saw is sold as is with no returns. Please dont hesitate to ask questions if you have any. Bar and chain will be removed for shipping so buyer will have to reassemble. I may have to ship the bar separately.
