Description: Vintage Art Glass Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful, vintage art glass vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This glass vase has a pattern of fruits (possibly plums) and leaves in relief. The glass is a grayish topaz color, and the exterior has a frosted finish over most of its surface (some of the edges are not frosted). The interior is glossy. The vase stands approximately 7 7/8 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of about 5 7/8 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 2 pounds 6.7 ounces; it feels heavy for its size. This vase would be a fine addition to an art glass collection Identification This vintage, art deco style piece is unmarked, and the exact maker and age are not known. It is likely European (possibly French or Bohemian). Condition The vase looks good overall, with no cracks. There is a small chip (about 1/4 inch across) to the exterior rim, as shown in Photo 5, with a second, very small, flat flake nearby which measures about 1/8 inch. The piece has very light soiling from use. The base has some wear marks from use. As made, the rim was ground off at the factory and there are scattered, tiny grinding roughness flakes.
