She was said to be Marilyn Monroe"s favorite designer. Ceil was a personal friend of Elizabeth Taylor and designed her wedding dresses, as well as elegant dresses for Judy Holiday, Debra Kerr, and was selected by Mamie Van Doren to create her wedding dress. Her dresses were also used in Cadillac commercials with her "Ceil Models" in her dresses, draped over the cars. This dress would also be very beautiful, framed as an art piece.
