Description: 19.5 x 16 inch indoor sign promoting Silver Springs Florida back in the late 1940s. The sign is made of thick composite wood/cardboard material. It is made for hanging with a loop on the back. It was produced by W.R. Maloy of Indiana, well known for making advertising signs. VG condition with minimal wear. These signs and many others were distributed by Silver Springs to motels and restaurants throughout the south. This image was Silver Spring's "go to" in advertising as it can be seen on decals, brochures, TV trays and many other products. In this sign it has a sepia tone look. Great display item. See my other Florida souvenirs and memorabilia. Don't miss the 4th Annual FLoridiana Fest, April 11-12, 2025, at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium.
