Description: This knife is in great condition for an old timer. It’s a full tang, carbon steel knife with wooden handles, but I can’t see a brand name anywhere. A well built knife, Still very solid with an 11.5” blade, comfortable in the hand with great carbon steel patina, and a brand new 25° edge. The blade was sharpened at a 25° angled edge on an electric wet wheel sharpener. 10 times on each side of the blade at even intervals. Still not 100% factory brand new sharp, but I’m pretty sure it’s way better than whatever’s in your drawer currently! Lol (picture 2). Before I sharpened it, it couldn’t slice paper at all. It was a homeowner sharpening for sure. Now it’s a beautiful edge that can be resharpened as needed. I also treated the handle with butcher block oil for a water repellent, and to treat the wood.
