Author Biography Michael Moorcock is an American comic book writer and editor who was Stan Lees first successor as editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics. Along with Elric, he is also best known for his lengthy writing stints on X-Men, Avengers, DCs All-Star Squadron and for introducing Conan the Barbarian to American comics, helping to launch a sword-and-sorcery trend in the field. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2011.Born in 1946, Walt Simonson is an American comic book writer and artist best known for his four-year run on Marvel Comics Thor, where he created fan favourite character Beta Ray Bill and for his creator owned series Star Slamers. He also worked on Marvels X-Factor, The Fantastic Four as well as DC Comics Detective Comics, Manhunter, Metal Men.
