Description: Stainless Early Crescent Canteen - French & Indian War, Revolutionary War Used from the early 1700's through the end of the 18th Century, the crescent canteen was a popular pattern for military and militia soldiers from many different nations. Early versions were made of sheet iron while later ones were constructed of tin. These canteens saw widespread service in colonial American conflicts including the French & Indian War and Revolutionary War. Our version is made exactly like the originals except instead of tin they are made of rust free stainless steel. Each canteen comes with a cotton cord strap that can be easily adjusted for length.
