Description: Over the years, Sypderco produced several versions of the Jess Horn knives. The oldest special versions were modeled after the C34 Jess Horn II. They were produced in 1997 exclusively for A.G. Russell and was never actually sold by Spyderco. Because they were of a reduced size, they were nicknamed "Baby Horns" and were made with handles of black or white Micarta or all stainless steel. The stainless Baby Horns were designated AGSP-2SS (or sometimes by the experimental stock number CX08). There is no information about the number of these special version knives that were made, but spydiewiki.com says the most sought after by collectors of the 1997 variants is the stainless AGSP-2SS. This Baby Horn has been a Safe Queen since it was purchased more than 25 years ago. It was only touched when the owner inspected it once or twice a year. It would normally be rated as New, Old Stock but it was not packed securely enough during a household move and suffered a very minor scrape on the pocket clip (see photos). So the condition has been downgraded to Used in Excellent condition. Unfortunately the original box and papers have been lost.
