She was an expert dressmaker and seamstress and often designed doll clothes. Known as an authority on quilting, her work is now in several museums. In her final years she hand made history character dolls and sold them in her shop. "Handicraft Doll Shop" in North Platte, Nebr. Carrie Hall died in 1955. Buffalo Bill is 12" tall, made of composition material - head and hands. He is complete with his original clothing : leather fringe coat, wool pants, felt hat, and leather boots. With original wood stand marked "1945" and has a typed label.
