Description: Ossur Iceross Dermo Prosthetic Locking Liner – In Box - Size 50/3 - Trimmed Ossur Dermo liners are made of soft white silicone on the inside with cloth covering outside. It has a plastic plate on the bottom with treaded attachment for a pin or lanyard that attaches to the prosthesis. To apply, the Dermo liner is turned inside out and rolled up on the skin and once applied inserted into the prosthesis. The silicone fits over the skin, it provides an airtight seal holding it in place against the skin. Once the liner is applied the patient slides their residual limb and liner inside the prosthesis and the liner locks itself inside the bottom of the socket holding the prosthesis in place. The soft silicone also cushions the skin to decrease irritation.
