Description: This swashbuckling pin adventure, Legend of the Golden Pins, took place from June 23 through August 13, 2006 and featured a specially designed lanyard starter set, open and limited edition pins and accessories. In addition, as part of the eight-week promotion, there was special pin trading carts, one in Disneyland® park, one in Disney's California Adventure® park and one in the Downtown Disney® District - that would allow you to add to your own Disney pin collection. Remember to pin trade with honor - or you may be forced to walk the plank. This pin-on-pin dangle pin features Mickey Mouse as a pirate, standing in front of a ship's wheel which spins. Mickey is wearing a red bandana on his head, and has a cutlass at his side. The background is a curled, tan pirates' map. The dangle portion of the pin is a sword, with a cloth draped over it reading "Annual Passholder Disneyland® Resort" in gold lettering.
