Description: This is a scrap quilt, featuring scores of different fabrics used in the ABC TV show The Muppets 2015-16. It measures 46” by 56” and is made of cotton and poly cotton fabrics. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Most of the fabrics were from shirts for Gonzo, Pepe, Rizzo, Lew Zealand, Zoot, Lips, Floyd Randy, Andy, Scooter and there are even a few Piggy fabrics: Reese Witherspoon work shirt, black and white sheath dress, 2 hospital gowns and bits from a Vera Neumann blouse (which was remade for Piggy). It’s all a crazy patchwork. The backing is 2 different cotton prints, one featuring the Muppets and the other, stars. There is a thin polyester batting in between the layers, which will allow you to wash the quilt without the batting shifting around. Machine wash cold, (front loader) hang to dry. This is ideal for a wall hanging, baby gift or lap throw. Certificate of authenticity provided by the Muppet costume designer who collected the scraps. This is the actual quilt you will receive.
