Description: Hudson's Bay Company Beaver Fur Trade Token Canada 1850s Cufflink Brass Unique This is a beaver fur trade token made by Hudson's Bay Company in the 1850s which has been made into a cuff link. I got this in a lot of mid century cuff links, so it seems it was a popular practice to take coins and make them into cuff links. While they are certainly not common, other cuff links made from this same coin do exist. I am basing the information in this listing on my own research. I am not an expert on coins or jewelry. Unfortunately, I have only the one cuff link. While it could be worn as jewelry, you could also remove the post and just keep it as a coin. It is an interesting piece of history made into an interesting piece of jewelry. Please review all photos. If you have any questions, please message me. Thank you!
