Description: Gibson Les Paul Classic 1997 HB (Honey Burst) w/hard case USEDDescriptionGood Condition! w/hard caseGibson Les Paul Classic, synonymous with slim necks. We have a 1997 model in stock. It weighs about 4.14kg, which is an ideal weight. Gibson started producing chambered bodies in the 1980s, but this one uses wood materials from the golden age of Les Pauls, such as a mahogany back without weight relief, a maple top, a thin slim tapered mahogany neck reminiscent of the 1960 Les Paul, and a rosewood fingerboard. Since the Historic Collection series began around 1993, Gibson guitars from the 1990s are said to have been made with great attention to detail, and the Les Paul Classic, which closely follows vintage specifications, is still highly regarded today and is popular in the used market. This is the most popular model, manufactured in 1997. The color is easy to handle, honey burst. The finish shows the enthusiasm of Gibson at the time in every detail, such as the vintage style pegs and nickel hardware. The scratches on the body due to aging also give it a sense of dignity. The well-worn pickguard, with the "1960" engraving almost worn off, is also impressive. The pickups are originally equipped with open humbuckers "496R" and "500T" with Gibson USA engraved on the back, but these have been changed to the 2022 "57 Classic" and open zebra color. The originals are not included. This model is popular with hard/heavy-oriented guitarists for its classic Gibson sound and easy playability due to its slim neck. Enjoy the 90s Gibson sound. Comes with a hard case (the metal fittings on the dial part are not functioning, but this does not interfere with transportation) and a Gibson leather strap (brown). The classic tone that everyone imagines is wonderful. The middle part has a pleasant drive, making it perfect for rock, and it is truly a classic Les Paul! The clean tone also has a pleasant attack and comes through. You can tell from the look that Gibsons from that time used good wood, and I honestly feel that it's a good guitar. The current Les Paul Classic has coil taps and other functions, which are convenient, but the increased circuitry often makes the sound thin. Classics from around this age have gradually risen in price, and can now be sold for around 300,000 yen. However, if you are going to buy one made recently, I feel that you should try your best and choose this one. We actually offer this to customers who visit our store when they ask us if there are any good Gibsons, because most people choose this one after playing it and comparing it with recent models. The pickups have been replaced, but it's not a problem because it has a "57 Classic" in it. This is definitely one of the regular lineup that our staff can recommend. ==================================================This product has been basic maintenance and cleaning, so it is in good condition and ready to play!
