Description: A wonderful VINTAGE WEASEL BONNET from northwestern Montana. The cap is covered with weasel tails and possibly rabbit strips or snowshoe hare. The horns look to be bovine and the cap portion is trimmed in nice red stroud with various brass buttons and bells. The tops of the horns are tied together with Indian brain tanned hide and brass bells while the horns are topped off with sinew, old stani ribbon, and tufts of horsehair.
