I buffed them out, refinished the area, and mounted the adhesive pick guard to prevent future scratches. A pick guard is a must if you want to keep it looking nice. The adhesive pick guard avoids having to drill holes in the body. I include some templates for making more pick guards if needed. One is shown in a photo. I should have used a transparent pick guard to show body has no scratches. Weight: 7lb, 12oz Maple neck with white side dots. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4” scale length. The neck is straight. The frets show no signs of wear. There are no high or low frets that I can detect. About 5 sets of strings minus a high E string Shammy towel that works best for keeping it looking nice. This shammy is from an auto parts store. A softer shammy from a guitar store would be better. Micro fiber cloth Brass shims to slip under the nut to raise for playing slide. The nut is just held in place by the string tension. Two brass nuts that have never been on the guitar. They would need work to be ready to use. Shipping package is 11x20x48 inches and a total of 27 pounds. I have Dunlop oil for the fretboard that I can ship separately if you want it. I also have 3 scratch removers and 3 gel stains. The gel stains are walnut, oak, and maple. Using them did not change the original stain. I would probably have to sand out the original stain for a change to appear. The scratches weren't deep enough to necessitate that. I'm listing the fret oil, stains and scratch removers separately with a high price. Whoever purchases the guitar can have them by offering $2 plus shipping on them.
