This included being the first coupe offered by Corvette. Along with its cutting-edge style, it came with an entirely new chassis that featured an independent rear suspension - something never seen before on a Corvette. The 1963 Corvette Stingray coupe was mainly recognizable due to its one-of-a-kind split window rear window, which was used in that year alone. The Corvette Stingray had many features that were like other high-end sports cars, such as race-inspired knock-off wheels and a highly developed fuel-injected engine. The Stingray was offered in a variety of colors and its interior was trimmed with genuine leather seats. It had other features like an AM/FM radio, power windows and air conditioning. Other notable features included side exhaust pipes, which were tucked up under the car's body paneling as well as chrome trim around the wheel wells and fuel filler cap.About CorvetteGeneral Motors has produced the Corvette in Bowling Green, Kentucky for over 30 years.
