Edible collagen casings for narrow snack sausages like snack sticks, slim jims, pepperoni sticks etc. Each pack has FIVE strands that hold 4-5 lbs of meat each. Approx 48' of filled product each strand. Approx 23 lbs total filled capacity. Clear smoked color. Just slip the casing strand over your slim stuffing tube. Requires the narrow 10 mm stuffing tube for these 17 mm casings. When fully dried this sausage will be about the size of a #2 pencil. These casings are fully edible and easy to use. Fill with your seasoned meat and place in your smoker, oven or preferred method of cooking. Our collagen casings require no preparation prior to use. Just load and fill. If this is the first time that you have used collagen casings you will see the difference in the ease of use. Store unused casings for up to 2 years.
