Extremely good quality linen shaped – without shoulder pads – into a semi fitted jacket with the edges of the front panel shaped as little arrows – long horizontal raised lines that form the apex of a point at the edge. I can tell you this took a tremendous amount of skill to sew. Self lined lower front keeps that detailed panel in shape, while the rest is lined with Bemberg rayon, so it’s more draped. Closes with a single hook above the arrows section. The back is cut and sewn in vertical pieces to take the bulk out and make it sleek. Topstitched upper collar that looks good up or down. While there are NO shoulder pads, there are little puffs of stiffener at the top of the sleeves that serve to extend the shoulders slightly, perhaps ¾”. Just a slight squaring. No signs of wear. 19.5” across the back at the underarms, 17” across at the waist and 20.5” across the hem. 25” from nape to hem, 17” across shoulders and sleeves are 25” long.
