Description: This DL-sized greeting card features a highly detailed colour illustration of Billie-Joe Armstrong's Fernandes Stratocaster Blue on the front and on the rear a brief history of this famous guitar.The card is produced from 350 gsm card and supplied with a quality white envelope.Billie-Joe Armstrong's Fernandes Stratocaster BlueBlue was Billie-Joe Armstrong’s first electric guitar and remains his most popular, carrying a number of different stickers over the years. Dating from the early 90’s Blue was presented to Billie-Joe by his mother on his eleventh birthday. Among the changes Billie-Joe made to this Fernandes Stratocaster copy was to the bridge pickup. He first replaced the Bill Lawrence humbucker with a white Seymour Duncan JB model after it was damaged at Woodstock in ’94 then in the late 90’s that was replaced with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB which is set at a similar angle to the bridge pickup in EVH’s Frankenstrat. The pickup selector hasn’t escaped attention either as it’s now locked, with the middle and neck pickups disconnected.
