Description: "Captain Bartho. Roberts with Two Ships at Whydah" -- New 6-card set of a black & white engraving by Benjamin Cole (1st photo) in the classic book, General History of the Pyrates, first published in England in 1724. The death in 1722 of this Welsh buccaneer (later called "Black Bart") is generally considered to mark the end of the Golden Age of Piracy. Leave the cards as is, or color with markers, pencils, watercolors or crayons. (We tried them all!) CARDS: 5x7-inch blank notecards and matching envelopes. Cards are white, luxurious 80-lb acid-free cover stock. Envelopes are opaque white with square flap. Available in multiples of 6 or 12. Sealed in a clear bag. BOXED NOTECARDS: Set of six cards & envelopes in white cardboard gift box with clear lid, fastened with vinyl loop (2nd photo). Please note: If you order multiple prints from our store that we can ship together, we will refund any portion of shipping charges that exceeds our cost for postage and materials. All cards are made to order, so we can provide as many as you want. Just let us know and we will revise the listing accordingly.
