Lithographed, printed, and colored by J.T. Bowen, Philadelphia, 1840-44. The first octavo edition was produced under the direct supervision of John James Audubon and features strictly hand-coloring. The credits are in italics, as required. Gorgeous upper tier print, #5 in a ranking of the 50 most collectible Audubon octavos.
