Description: Hand carved and painted wooden doll "Maria" by Juan Ferrandiz for ANRI (2000). The doll is 14" tall, from a limited edition #103 from 1,000 and numbered on the back of her neck and on her wrist tag, which is the doll's certificate of authenticity. She was made in St. Christine in the Dolomite Mountains of South Tyrol, Italy. Their dolls are hand-carved out of maple wood, and fully jointed by the artisans, and then their features are hand painted. Maria is jointed everywhere except her head and feet.
