Description: This AMP tool #244271-1 tool is in good, working pre-owned condition. The tool works well but the nylon/plastic wire guides which are replaceable, are currently broken in this tool. Please see the photos. The tool can still be operated without those guides, but it is a little more difficult ensuring good wire connections when crimping. This tool is a must have for making consistent, good spliced, in-line connections on smaller gauged wires in a variety of situations where electrical connections are needed.
