Description: A very good or better copy of the 1954 first edition of Dylan Thomas' humorous, sad, magical, irresistible account of his own childhood and Christmas in Wales, housed in a near fine price clipped dust jacket. Small 12mo. 32pages, first edition and first issue with red lettering to the book's spine and the head of each section by Samuel B. Marsh. Paper boards with a tiny bump to the lower front cover, darkening to the spine, toning to the end papers and foxing to the extremities and outer page edges as is usual with this cheaply made book. The dust jacket is clipped at the lower front flap with toning to the tan paper with a small spot on the spine and light wear to the lower spine end. Overall, a very good or better copy of the first printing and first separate edition of this Dylan Thomas Christmas classic.
