With its introduction in 2018, the Australian Silver Emu was made available to investors and collectors in 1 oz silver. The silver bullion coin, like the Wedge Tail Eagle, has much lower mintage caps than the Silver Kookaburra, Silver Koala, and Silver Kangaroo have the 1 oz bullion coins in those releases.Queen Elizabeth II is depicted on the obverse side of 2020 1 oz Proof Australian Silver Emu Coins. This is the sixth-generation effigy of the Queen to feature on Australian coins and was adopted in 2018/2019 on the vast majority of Perth Mint collections. In this design, the Queen is shown in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown.Two emus are shown on the reverse field of the 2020 Proof Australian Silver Emu Coins. This years design captures two emus near a water hole in the Outback. While one of the birds is seated and resting near the water, the other is standing in the background.
