Description: From my online research I believe this bowl dates from the latter half of the 19th Century!! In 1899 "Petrous Regout" was renamed "Sphinx", alluding to its use of the recumbent sphinx logo starting in around 1879!! The pattern name is "Bali" and the bowl is well aged with some discoloration in the ceramic but the blue/green & yellow colors are still very nice!! There is a hairline age fracture in the base which does not go through to the inside so the bowl is still very solid with no hollow sound when tapped!! Approx. 4.5" high X 7 7/8" in diameter across the top!! NOTE: Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!! I refund overcharges less a small packing & handling fee, so even if you pay the quoted charge you will not be overcharged!! BUT PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICING to maximize your potential refund as eBay now charges a final value fee on the shipping too!! Please see my many other antique and kitchen listings and email me with any questions!!
