1972-77 Suzuki GT250/380/550 convex gauge glass speedo/tach cover set

Description: Here is a pair of convex glass replacement gauge speedometer/ tachometer lens covers to fit the vintage 1972-1977 Suzuki GT250/ 380/ 550 Two Stroke Triple motorcycles. May fit other years for other vintage Suzuki motorcycles so please do your research and due diligence before purchasing. Yellowing and cloudiness of the factory plastic lens covers over time is a problem for most all of the vintage Suzuki motorcycles. Pictures listed here in #4 and #6 show this common issue. Pictures listed here from # 3-9 show the replacement glass lens covers in the finished product which I personally refurbished for a GT380. Pictures 10- 12 show the excellent results of two of my customers! The convex curved shape of the glass allows full needle travel movement for both speedo and tachometer. Measurements per glass: 3.57” diameter and 2mm thick. Some DIY skills are required for this including removal of old plastic lens and sanding and grinding of your plastic gauge housing for these new glass pieces for nice fitment. A rotary tool such as a Dremel with cut off wheel, sanding drum, exacto knife, and good quality adhesive are tools needed for the repair. These glass covers glue from underneath the casing. An instruction sheet will be included and placed in your package. You are responsible for all aspects of the assembly including making it water proof and/ or water resistant.
