Description: Up for sale is my 1968 Triumph Daytona 500 in Cheney frame. The bike DOES NOT have a title but I can provide a bill of sale. There are no cracks or repairs to frame nor vin numbers since it it a race frame . Can be run in braked or brakeless classes (has a bolt that can be flipped to disable the rear brake on seconds and is AMA legal). Both the shifter and the brake are on the right hand side. Quick change rear wheel and a really nice tripple-tree. The head has been polished and ported, bike has a new electronic ignition, mikunis and a new magneto. All work has been done by 6th Street Specials in NYC and Morries Triumph in IL. Bike is great, race ready, fast and fun. It comes with an assortment of sprockets that will accommodate 1/8 to 5/8 mile tracks. Quick change rear wheel, shifter and brake both on right side. Bike is in Oak Park, IL and can be delivered within reason for an additional price.Please check my feedback and ask any questions. This bike is being sold as is where is since it is 56 years old. That being said I would hop on it and race it tomorrow!
